Macromedia Dreamweaver 8.0.2 Portable

Dreamweaver has always been one of my favorite web editors ... till Adobe took over Macromedia and integrated Macromedia products with other Adobe software.
Nowadays, installing a single Adobe CS3 product would result in the installation of 'Adobe share components' we don't really care about. These components are only usefull for those who need complementarity between 2 or more Adobe CS3 products. I wouldn't imagine that Adobe is pushing us to install more than one of its products ...

For my day to day work, i use a portable version of the good old Macromedia Dreamweaver 8.0.2. It was prepared with VMWare ThinApp 4.0.0.200 (formerly Thinstall) and includes all of the program's features (including the Extension Manager). It's light (only 86 MB unpacked), it's fast and efficient, and it doesn't require lots of memory.
Just download, extract to the directory of your choice and off you go !

Obama Rindu Nasi Goreng dan Rambutan

JAKARTA - ''Mr President, apa kabar?'' itulah ucapan pertama Barack Obama, presiden terpilih Amerika Serikat, saat kontak telepon dengan Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. Mendengar sapaan khas bahasa Indonesia tersebut, SBY langsung menyahut dengan penuh keakraban, ''Alhamdulillah, baik.''

Itulah kontak pertama SBY dengan Obama. Komunikasi kedua tokoh dunia tersebut berlangsung saat SBY transit 2,5 jam di Seattle, AS, dalam perjalanan pulang dari KTT APEC di Lima, Peru, kemarin. Obama menyempatkan berkomunikasi di tengah sibuk rapat mempersiapkan pemerintahannya nanti.

''Wah, pengucapan kata-kata Indonesia-nya masih sangat baik,'' ungkap SBY kepada wartawan yang ikut dalam rombongan itu. Yang membuat SBY juga terkesima adalah Obama lebih dulu menyapa dengan bahasa Indonesia.

Obama yang menghabiskan empat tahun masa kecilnya di Jakarta tersebut, tampaknya, masih ingat pada bahasa ayah tirinya, Lolo Soetoro. Saat berusia enam sampai sepuluh tahun, Obama bersekolah di SD Katolik Fransiskus Asisi dan SD Negeri 01 Besuki (sekarang SDN Menteng 01) Jakarta Pusat. Dia mengikuti ibunya, Ann Dunham, yang menikah dengan Lolo.

Dalam percakapan berikutnya, SBY mengucapkan selamat atas terpilihnya Obama dan menyampaikan harapan agar kerja sama Indonesia-AS terus ditingkatkan pada masa mendatang. ''Selain komitmen kami berdua untuk meningkatkan kerja sama ke depan, presiden terpilih Barack Obama menggarisbawahi pentingnya peran Indonesia,'' jelas SBY.

Obama, kata dia, juga terus memantau langkah-langkah Indonesia dalam berbagai bidang. Termasuk dalam mengatasi krisis keuangan global dan climate change. ''Itu tentu memberikan harapan untuk masa depan Indonesia sekaligus kerja sama di antara kedua negara,'' ujarnya.

Setelah berbicara resmi dengan bahasa Inggris, Obama kembali mengajak SBY berbahasa Indonesia. SBY pun mengundang presiden AS pertama keturunan Afrika tersebut ke Indonesia. ''Dalam kesempatan hadir di APEC tahun depan di Singapura, kami mengundang Mr President terpilih ke Indonesia,'' ungkapnya.

Obama menyambut baik undangan itu. Kedatangan Obama nanti tak hanya mengandung arti strategis dalam hubungan bilateral, tapi juga untuk melepas kangen. Dia mengaku kangen rambutan, bakso, dan nasi goreng. ''Saya sudah lama dan ingin sekali merasakan bakso, rambutan, dan nasi goreng,'' kata SBY menirukan jawaban Obama.

Pada akhir pembicaraan sekitar lima menit itu, SBY menceritakan bahwa dirinya membawa titipan dari teman-teman Obama saat bersekolah di Menteng. Yakni, album foto kenangan saat mereka bersekolah. Karena keduanya tak bisa bertemu langsung, SBY menjelaskan akan menitipkan oleh-oleh tersebut lewat Dubes RI di Washington.

Mendengar titipan tersebut, Obama merasa surprise. Dia menyatakan ingin sesegera mungkin melihat foto kenangan bersama teman-teman kecilnya itu.

Dini hari tadi, pukul 03.30, SBY dijadwalkan mendarat di Bandara Halim Perdanakusuma. Dia melakukan rangkaian kunjungan ke AS dan Amerika Latin selama dua minggu, sejak 13 November 2008. Vertikal Navigator Menu

Masih ingatkah sama Horisontal Navigator menu yang Saya posting sebelumnya?. Diantara Navigator menu dan Vertical menu mempunyai perbedaan bentuk, yaitu jika navigator menu horisontal menunya memanjang kesamping (horizontal) dan jika vertikal menu memanjang kebawah (vertikal), menu ini cocok jika dipasang di sidebar karena bentuk menunya memanjang kebawah, lain halnya dengan horisontal menu yang bentuknya menyamping cocok jika dipasang di header.

Disini saya akan coba membuat menu vertikal simple namun stylish dan tidak memakan waktu yang lama untuk loadingnya karena tidak disertai gambar untuk backgroundnya.

tidak perlu memakan waktu yang lama untuk membuatnya dan tidak perlu ketrampilan yang cukup untuk membuatnya, hanya tinggal copy-paste code yang saya berikan ini.
