Setelah berbicara resmi dengan bahasa Inggris, Obama kembali mengajak SBY berbahasa Indonesia. SBY pun mengundang presiden AS pertama keturunan Afrika tersebut ke Indonesia. ''Dalam kesempatan hadir di APEC tahun depan di Singapura, kami mengundang Mr President terpilih ke Indonesia,'' ungkapnya.

Obama menyambut baik undangan itu. Kedatangan Obama nanti tak hanya mengandung arti strategis dalam hubungan bilateral, tapi juga untuk melepas kangen. Dia mengaku kangen rambutan, bakso, dan nasi goreng. ''Saya sudah lama dan ingin sekali merasakan bakso, rambutan, dan nasi goreng,'' kata SBY menirukan jawaban Obama.
